About Regular Expressions

Flags:

  • g - Global: matches all occurrences
  • i - Case Insensitive: ignores case
  • m - Multiline: ^ and $ match line boundaries
  • s - Dot All: . matches newlines

Capture Groups:

  • (...) - Capture group ($1, $2, etc.)
  • (?:...) - Non-capturing group

Character Classes:

  • \\d - Digit (0-9)
  • \\w - Word character (a-z, A-Z, 0-9, _)
  • \\s - Whitespace character
  • [abc] - Any character in set

Quantifiers:
